so palladium and platinum both look like silver. I dont get how these ever became more popular than silver. My guess is because silver is much more abundant than palladium and platinum, but other than that it looks nearly identical. So whats the buzz about! :o Look at these two pictures. One is silver and one is palladium. Ok, if anything the silver looks better.

Haha yeah they do look pretty simliar dont they. If you would like to trade your palladium for my silver, I am all up for that :p :D

what's funny is that the word platinum is derived from the Spanish term platina del Pinto, which is literally translated into "little silver of the Pinto River"!

Platinum is far more precious than silver and does not oxidize.
